Standalone service

Business Review & Action Plan

An experienced second look at the business, with practical recommendations and prioritized next steps.

Strongly recommended. Never required. The review is valuable on its own, and you can use the findings without purchasing any additional CIBS services.

Every review identifies what is working, what needs attention, recommended changes, and the next priorities for ownership.

Business Partnerships

An ongoing relationship with an outside business partner: guidance, accountability, improvement work, and involvement at the level that fits. A partnership is not a bucket of hours. It is continuity, with someone who understands your business and helps keep priorities moving.

Each tier includes the one before it and adds more involvement. Recurring execution and projects are selected separately, and no ownership or equity is implied. A client may purchase a Partnership, Operational Support, or both. Response targets are goals during normal business operations, not guarantees, and mean an acknowledgment or initial response rather than completion. Onsite sessions are scheduled as described in your engagement paperwork. CIBS works remotely whenever practical, and onsite time and travel may be included, limited, or billed separately as agreed in writing.

Recurring execution

Operational Support

Recurring execution of selected functions, so the work gets done consistently. Operational Support may stand alone or complement a Partnership. Most services come in Basic, Standard, and Advanced tiers, and tier placement depends on volume and complexity.

Partnership vs. Business Operations Support: a Partnership is advisory, leadership, accountability, improvement, and decision support. Business Operations Support is recurring execution of defined operational and administrative work. A client may purchase one, the other, or both.

Good to know

Administrative and coordination work. Operational Support covers recurring execution of defined work.

Roles. CIBS is not the payroll processor, tax filer, custodian of payroll funds, CPA, employment attorney, or PEO.

Your decisions. You keep employment decisions, hiring authority, and final payment authorization unless specific written authority is granted.

Professional advice. Legal, tax, engineering, insurance, underwriting, claims, and regulatory advice are not included.

Technology. CIBS is not a managed IT provider, cybersecurity firm, hosting provider, or 24/7 help desk.

Third-party costs. Advertising, background checks, drug tests, assessments, and other third-party fees are separate.

As-needed support

Support Blocks

Support Blocks are prepaid support for smaller, occasional needs that do not justify a monthly service or a project. They are not a substitute for recurring service. Blocks come in 5-hour, 10-hour, and 20-hour sizes.

  1. Select a block. Determine the amount of as-needed support.
  2. Describe the task. Tell CIBS what you need help with.
  3. CIBS reviews and accepts the task. CIBS accepts a task only when it fits Support Block work, so you know before work starts.
  4. Schedule approved work. CIBS schedules accepted tasks based on agreed scope and availability.
  5. Use your support. CIBS records approved work in 15-minute increments. You do not need to maintain a timesheet.
  6. Agree before going over. Additional support or a revised scope is agreed with you before the available amount is exceeded.
5-hour block

Five prepaid hours.

10-hour block

Ten prepaid hours.

20-hour block

Twenty prepaid hours.

Block terms. Blocks are prepaid and due in advance. They are nontransferable and expire 120 days after purchase, and unused time is forfeited at expiration. A block does not guarantee continuous coverage, reserved capacity, or a response time.

Refunds. Blocks are generally nonrefundable. The exception: CIBS refunds the unused balance of an unexpired block if CIBS ends the engagement without cause, or if you end it because CIBS materially breaches the agreement and does not correct it in time.

Senior or specialized work. This work may be counted at a different rate or priced separately. CIBS discloses that treatment, and you approve it, before the work begins.

Guided inquiry

Build Your Support Plan

Tell us what you need, explore support options, and send your selections to CIBS. We will contact you to clarify priorities and discuss the right scope.

This is an inquiry, not a purchase. Nothing here creates a contract, a booking, or a final recommendation, and no payment or account is needed.

What is needed to send. Your name, email and consent (Step 5), plus one of these: a short description of your needs (Step 1), the “I’m not sure” option (Step 1), or at least one support area (Step 3). Everything else is optional, including a Business Partnership and Support Blocks. Selecting an option is not a purchase or a commitment.

Step 1 of 5: Tell Us What You Need

Step 1: Tell Us What You Need

You do not need to know the solution or match your problem to a listed service. Describe it in your own words. CIBS reviews every inquiry and will tell you honestly whether and how we can help.

Is the support for the whole business, a department or function, or a specific project? (optional)
Describe what is going on in your own words. It is fine if none of it matches a listed service. Visitors must provide a needs description, select “I’m not sure,” or select a support area. Partnership and Support Blocks remain optional.

Ready to talk through the options?

Start with a brief, practical conversation about where things are now and what you want to improve. We will help you figure out which path, if any, fits. Ask us about fees as part of that conversation.
